WWE’s return to Salt Lake City for Saturday Night’s Main Event didn’t go as planned—both backstage and at the box office. According to Fightful Select, internal reactions to the turnout at the Delta Center were “very disappointing,” with attendance nearly cut in half compared to WWE’s previous visit 11 months ago.
WrestleTix reported just 7,867 tickets distributed out of an 8,088 setup, with only 221 seats unsold by bell time. Despite a stacked card featuring CM Punk vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship and Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Title, WWE’s live average for 2025—around 12,000 fans per show—was far out of reach. Sources say seat relocations were used to make the arena appear fuller on TV, but the numbers tell the story: this was not the turnout WWE was hoping for.
