According to Bryan Alvarez of WONF4W, new TKO contracts now include a clause that enforces a one-year non-compete if a talent is fired for cause or breach. While this existed in some older deals, it’s now a standard clause across all contracts.
This new rule is reportedly the key issue delaying Andrade’s full return to AEW, as the company navigates the updated TKO non-compete terms.
