Mercedes Moné’s independent wrestling run is drawing attention not just for her growing list of championships, but for her high-value business approach. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, promoters pay $25,000 per appearance to book Moné—and there’s one non-negotiable term: she doesn’t lose.
Multiple indie promoters confirmed that Moné’s deals include guaranteed victories, as her team only accepts offers where she wins titles or remains undefeated. AEW reportedly enforces the same protection, preventing her from taking any loss outside the company unless she loses in AEW first. Sapp noted that her management is contacted directly by promotions seeking “the exposure of her working on their shows and winning their championships.”
