AEW Collision Moving to Thanksgiving Night to Avoid WWE Survivor Series

AEW Collision will temporarily shift from its usual Saturday night timeslot to Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27 at 8 p.m. ET, according to a new Warner Bros. Discovery press release outlining its November 2025 programming schedule.

The move is designed to avoid a direct conflict with WWE Survivor Series, which airs on Saturday, November 29. AEW has struggled in past head-to-head broadcasts against WWE Premium Live Events, including this year’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, both of which produced record-low viewership numbers for Collision.

Thanksgiving night traditionally draws strong television audiences, though AEW will still face competition from NFL games and holiday specials. The special edition of Collision will feature fallout from Full Gear (Nov. 22) and begin setting the stage for AEW Worlds End in December.
