As the WWE–TNA crossover continues to surprise fans with joint appearances on NXT, a new Fightful Select report has revealed how TNA wrestlers are being compensated.
According to the report, TNA talent do get paid for their NXT appearances, but the amount varies depending on their role. Wrestlers who simply show up or aren’t used earn the lowest payout, while those who compete—especially in the main event—receive higher pay rates. Those who closed recent NXT Showdown events reportedly took home the top payouts of the night.
Interestingly, some NXT stars who’ve wrestled on TNA programming said they weren’t paid anything extra for those appearances, though it’s unclear if that’s a consistent policy. This clarification sheds light on the structure behind the crossover, confirming that TNA wrestlers are compensated, especially when featured prominently on WWE TV.
