WWE’s legendary archive library may soon be locked behind a paywall. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there’s growing internal belief that WWE’s full archives—including Network content, documentaries, and YouTube Vault classics—will move to ESPN+ by the end of the year.
If this happens, thousands of hours of free WWE history would shift exclusively to ESPN+, forcing fans to subscribe if they want access. Meltzer reported that ESPN isn’t just targeting the WWE Network archives but also Vault-style on-demand content and YouTube classics, meaning free wrestling history could be disappearing.
