WWE’s $1.625 Billion ESPN Deal Leaves NXT Premium Live Events in Limbo

WWE’s massive $1.625 billion deal with ESPN will shift all Premium Live Events to ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer platform after Clash in Paris, but NXT shows aren’t included. Fightful Select confirmed that NXT Premium Live Events aren’t moving to ESPN—for now—and WWE is looking at other options.

Bryan Alvarez also reported that Clash in Paris will be the last WWE PLE to stream on Peacock, as the company already met its quota of events earlier than expected. While Raw and SmackDown content is set, NXT’s future streaming destination is uncertain. WWE may shop its library and NXT rights separately, with potential discussions about AAA rights also on the table.
