WWE NXT Expected to Expand Premium Live Event Schedule

PWInsider reports that WWE NXT is expected to expand its Premium Live Event schedule, with plans for roughly eight specials per year. While not locked in, it signals WWE’s intent to showcase the brand more often on a bigger stage.

This comes as NXT gears up for No Mercy on September 27 in Fort Lauderdale, streaming on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. It will also be the first major NXT event since April not running head-to-head with an AEW pay-per-view.
