Per #DaveMeltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the company has “already decided what they’re doing,” ruling out any involvement from #AdamCopeland.

Meltzer clarified that Copeland’s current absence from AEW is tied to acting projects, not WWE negotiations. Despite rumors and fan speculation about a one-night return, WWE isn’t planning to bring Copeland back for Cena’s retirement. Cena’s final chapter will close against GUNTHER—no Edge reunion on the horizon.
