Conflicting Reports Emerge on WWE’s Interest in Andrade El Idolo Amid Legal Restrictions

LAndrade El Idolo’s professional future is stuck in legal limbo, with reports surfacing about whether WWE wants him back or not. Following his September release for alleged Wellness Policy violations, Andrade is under a one-year non-compete clause that prevents him from appearing on televised wrestling in the U.S.

According to Fightful Select, WWE sources deny any plans to bring him back, despite speculation from the Mexican wrestling scene that the company may be holding onto him strategically. WWE reportedly sees “no intent” to use Andrade again, calling such rumors unfounded.

For now, Andrade is focusing on independent dates like Big Time Wrestling on November 1, while remaining sidelined from major televised events.
