WWE Loading Up WrestlePalooza With Major Matches, Returns, and Surprises

WWE is going all-in for WrestlePalooza on September 20, its first Premium Live Event to air live on ESPN. The company is stacking the card with big names, storyline payoffs, and potential returns to ensure the debut leaves a lasting impact.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE always treats new platform debuts as showcases, noting examples like SmackDown’s FOX premiere and RAW’s upcoming Netflix launch. He believes WrestlePalooza will be “no different,” teasing that AJ Lee’s long-awaited return may already be locked in. Her involvement could tie into CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ feud, especially after Becky Lynch shocked fans by siding with Seth in Paris.

In addition, Brock Lesnar is confirmed for the event, The Usos reunion is brewing, and the vacant Women’s World Title will be decided between IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer. WWE clearly wants WrestlePalooza to feel like one of the year’s biggest shows.
