Back in June, reports suggested WWE was considering holding a Draft in September or tying it to the season premieres of RAW and SmackDown. However, per Bodyslam.net, all talk of the Draft has gone quiet, and it does not appear to be in the works at this time.
This marks a change from WWE’s usual pattern, as the Draft has often been used to shake up the rosters and set the stage for the fall season. While it’s always possible the company revisits the idea down the road, for now, it looks like both brands will stay as they are heading into WrestlePalooza and beyond.
