WWE may be preparing for another big NXT call-up as the year winds down. According to WrestleVotes Radio, Tony D’Angelo’s name has been circulating in creative meetings, with many expecting him to debut on RAW or SmackDown before 2025 comes to a close.
Reports note that his mobster-inspired character will remain intact, though slightly refined for the main roster. D’Angelo has been praised for his standout personality and work ethic, making him a strong candidate to transition seamlessly.
His last appearance on NXT ended with a cliffhanger on July 29, where he told a server not to call him “The Don” anymore, before being startled by a shadow. With his unique charisma and character work, D’Angelo’s move to the main roster could be one of WWE’s most exciting call-ups to end the year.
