Sami Callihan’s retirement at TNA Emergence wasn’t just storyline—it was real. After losing to Mike Santana in a Baltimore Street Fight, Callihan fulfilled his vow and left the ring for good.
According to Fightful Select, Callihan has been struggling physically after years of injuries, which ultimately pushed him to retire. Though his in-ring career ended, he continues to work behind the scenes and dedicate time to his promotion, Pro Wrestling Revolver.
The match itself ended with Santana pinning Callihan after hitting Spin the Block, closing out Callihan’s 1,417-match career. In a symbolic farewell, he left his boots in the ring before walking away. Backstage, emotions spilled over as Eric Young confronted Joe Hendry, setting up possible future tensions in TNA.
