TNA Wrestling might be heading for a seismic change as it chases a $10 million-per-year media rights deal. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, TNA president Carlos Silva has been pitching a live weekly show plus bundled pay-per-views, similar to WWE’s Peacock or UFC’s ESPN+ deals. But the bigger twist? Anthem Sports—the parent company of TNA—could be spun off and sold.
Meltzer noted there have been internal discussions within TKO Group, WWE and UFC’s parent company, about potentially buying TNA. This follows their talent-sharing partnership that started earlier this year. Meltzer compared it to WWE’s past buyout options with Progress and ICW, but says TNA’s stronger infrastructure makes this possibility far more serious.
