WWE Reportedly Banned Talent from Mentioning Iran-Israel Crisis on TV Ahead of Night of Champions

WWE has reportedly issued a strict directive to its talent and staff, banning any mention of the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict during recent broadcasts, including Monday Night Raw.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the order was meant to prevent raising questions or concern ahead of this weekend’s Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia. Dave Meltzer noted that WWE’s reasoning was tied to the sensitive and potentially dangerous situation developing in the region.

“They weren’t allowed [to reference the Iran-Israel crisis]. They just were not allowed to mention anything,” Meltzer said. “That’s probably one of the reasons why they weren’t allowed to address it because I don’t think they wanted those questions being asked.”

The order comes as WWE talent and crew prepare to fly to Riyadh amid tense travel conditions and increased global scrutiny following recent military activity in the area.
