R-Truth—now performing under his real name, Ron Killings—is officially back in WWE, and new information has surfaced regarding the nature of his comeback deal.
According to Cory Hayes of Bodyslam.net, Killings signed a new WWE contract on Friday, just ahead of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. However, this isn’t your standard talent contract. Hayes describes it as a special agreement designed to allow Killings "one true final run."
“PWInsider.com reported that the decision to bring Killings back happened over the last 72 hours,” Hayes explained. “I was informed by a source that the new deal came together sometime on Friday. This new deal isn’t a normal active working talent deal but it gives him the opportunity for one true final run.”
Killings—known for his iconic comedic timing as R-Truth and his serious accolades in TNA as a former NWA World Champion—has long been a fan favorite. With this new agreement in place, fans could see a meaningful closing chapter in a career that has spanned decades.
