R-Truth's comeback has WWE leadership worried that fans are gaining too much control

Following a powerful fan campaign, R-Truth (now performing as Ron Killings) has made a comeback to WWE, a move that has reportedly unsettled the company's leadership.

According to wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, executives are worried this has proven to the audience how much power they hold.

The main concern is that fans, now realizing they can successfully protest company decisions, may attempt to "hijack" future creative plans or demand the reversal of other talent releases.

This dynamic threatens to bring back the contentious fan-versus-management atmosphere of the Vince McMahon era, posing a challenge to WWE's authority over its own product.
