Private Party’s AEW Contracts Reportedly Expiring Soon

Private Party’s time with AEW could be nearing its end, as their contracts are reportedly set to expire soon. The popular tag team, who won the AEW Tag Team Titles after defeating The Young Bucks last October, lost the belts to The Hurt Syndicate in January and have been absent from AEW programming ever since.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Private Party’s AEW deals are “up very soon.” While there has been no word on whether the company plans to re-sign them, many fans feel AEW missed the opportunity to fully capitalize on the duo’s momentum during their short title reign.

Their absence from AEW television in recent months has sparked speculation, but it was previously reported that they were simply enjoying some well-deserved downtime and were not sidelined due to injury. In fact, they even wrestled an independent match back in March.

With their contracts nearing expiration, fans are wondering if Private Party will remain with AEW or explore opportunities elsewhere.
