CM Punk’s “Blood Money” Apology Was Planned by WWE, TKO, and Saudi Officials

Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that CM Punk’s public apology in Saudi Arabia during Night of Champions wasn’t spontaneous. Instead, it was a pre-arranged move coordinated by WWE, TKO, and Saudi officials to reshape Punk’s image.

While fans saw it as forced, insiders viewed it as smart business, showing Punk had matured and moved past his controversial “blood money” tweet. Meltzer explained that only Punk knows how genuine it felt, but the plan aimed to prove he’s no longer the unpredictable hothead from his past.
