Giulia has arrived in WWE and made an immediate statement by crushing Zelina Vega to capture the Women’s United States Championship on SmackDown in Saudi Arabia.
The match was short and decisive, showcasing Giulia as a force WWE plans to elevate into a major star.
According to Bryan Alvarez, Giulia “just beat her… dominated the match.” Dave Meltzer added that while Vega’s run was more of a recognition of her tenure, Giulia is being positioned as a top-tier attraction going forward. WWE clearly sees Giulia on a different level, and her title win is just the start of what looks to be a major push.
