Triple H Reportedly Not a Fan of Money in the Bank Concept Despite it's Popularity

Triple H may be leading WWE’s creative direction in 2025, but one thing he reportedly doesn’t have much love for is the Money in the Bank briefcase.

According to Fightful Select, The Game has never been all that into the concept. The initial report came from WrestleVotes Radio, who claimed that Triple H has never been a fan of the briefcase “as a whole.” Fightful followed up, confirming that “it certainly tracks with things we have heard since the report.”

One insider even pointed out that Triple H has kept his distance from the gimmick throughout his career. “Someone pointed out Triple H has never even been in a qualifying match, much less had much to do with the concept, and he never got cashed in on,” the report said.

Despite his personal stance, the Money in the Bank briefcase isn’t going anywhere. “At this point, it’s too much of a money maker to give up,” sources emphasized.

Since its debut at WrestleMania 21, the briefcase has become a staple of WWE programming—creating iconic moments and elevating future champions. As WWE heads into the 2025 edition of Money in the Bank at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on June 7, the gimmick remains one of the company’s biggest annual attractions, regardless of how Triple H feels about it.
