Despite rumors of Shinsuke Nakamura leaving WWE, Sean Ross Sapp reports that AEW isn’t actively trying to sign him. Instead, the likeliest move could be a return to New Japan Pro Wrestling, which might still open the door to appearances at Forbidden Door events.
Nakamura has barely been featured on WWE TV since dropping the U.S. Title to LA Knight in March, fueling speculation about his future. For now, he remains on WWE’s active roster, with no official release confirmed.
