WWE Reportedly Planning More Counterprogramming Moves Against AEW After This Weekend

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE isn’t backing off its counterprogramming strategy against AEW. 

Alvarez noted, “If you think WWE learned something or maybe they decided counterprogramming isn’t a good idea… no, we’ve got more coming.”

He added that fans can expect to hear about WWE’s next move against AEW fairly soon, hinting at ongoing plans to go head-to-head with AEW programming in the near future. WWE has recently scheduled special events and NXT shows to clash with AEW broadcasts, and it appears this rivalry will keep heating up beyond this weekend.
